Stylish IPA

In the upcoming design modeling, Clarewin will use Happy Veggies characters in their counterparts’ products to further enhance their products’ appeal and attract audience. The first one that our company will cooperate with is a phonetic expert, Mr. Jacob Chu, who was a recipient of  Stanford University's Outstanding Teacher Award and was awarded the International Phonetics Association Certificate of Proficiency in the Phonetics of English. He  is also holder of a Diploma in Teaching English as Second Language. 

 Mr. Chu is one of several Hong Kong teachers  awarded Stanford University's Outstanding Teacher Award.  Moreover, he studied under Professor John Wells, the world's leading authority on pronunciation and  author of the famous Longman Pronunciation Dictionary.  We feel that our cute Happy Veggies characters can appeal to his target audience, mainly young teenagers, and we are able to convince him that through the cartoon characters, the students can learn more effectively.

He was interviewed by Radio Hong Kong channel 3 (香港電台第三台)on 12 July 2006 discussing about the problem of articulation in Hong Kong and also the development of IPA in different countries.
